We loved our stay here! The friendly new owners ensured we had everything we needed. The location was perfect for visiting Gustavus College, and the room was clean with excellent linens. It was a great place to recharge after a long day out.
My kids wished they had a better space for playing. An improved play area could really enhance the experience for families.

Wonderful family vibe!
Staying here was a nice surprise! The family running the place is super friendly and really cares about making sure you’re comfy. It’s literally a hop away from Gustavus College, which was so convenient. Just wish the WiFi was a bit stronger—it dropped a few times. Breakfast options were also a nice touch!

The room was clean and spacious, but the old bed was uncomfortable, leading to a rough sleep. The staff were friendly, yet the promised help wasn’t always available. I noticed some worn furniture and an air conditioning issue, but the price was reasonable and the location great.

Great for College Visits
We stayed for a night, and honestly, the owners made it really nice. Super friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for heading to Gustavus College, just a quick drive away. The only bummer was the musty smell in the room which didn't sit well with my allergies.

The new ownership is great, and I really appreciated the fresh linens and spacious setup in my room with two queen beds. It was nice to unwind by the small pool and enjoy some quiet moments. Just a heads-up, the furniture is a bit dated, but they’re planning upgrades, so it should only get better! 😊

The clean linens and fresh bedding left a good impression, making the room feel more inviting than the dated furniture implied. Convenient access to nearby attractions provided a practical base for our activities during the stay.
The room showed its age with worn furniture that included an outdated chest of drawers and chair, giving off a sense of neglect. A noticeable musty odor lingered in the air, and the air conditioner emitted unpleasantries that made me reconsider my air circulation strategy. Some of the towels felt a bit too rough and unabsorbent, not quite what I expected from standard motel amenities.

Oh, the Chinese food nearby was a total game changer! A local spot served up all the flavors that made my taste buds dance. Plus, the friendly staff made my stay a breeze. The rooms were clean and cozy, truly a comfy getaway!
The first room was a bit of a joke, full of cardboard boxes! Luckily, they switched me to a better one, but the hand towels felt more like window cleaners. A bit of a mixed bag, but still managed to have a good time.

The location is indeed very convenient, especially for visiting the nearby college. However, the room was filled with outdated furnishings and appliances, including an old TV and a microwave. It was clean, but the bathroom needed attention. the tub required re-caulking, and one light bulb was burnt out. For a short stay, it’s decent if you're just looking for a place to sleep.

Not the best experience
We stayed for 3 nights in a Queen Room. The place was super dirty—smelly carpets, white stains on the chairs, and even holes in the table. Good news was the location was nice, close to everything. The dining was decent too. But man, for $62, I expected way better.

Our stay was wonderful! The new owners are incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. The location is perfect, super close to the college, and the linens were fantastic. It was a smooth visit for our family of seven.
My kids wished the swimming area was bigger for more fun activities. It would be great if they could enhance the outdoor space for families.
